On Saturday, March 1st, the Tenuta Castello and Il Mulino Golf Clubs hosted an original 12-hole hickory golf competition, an unusual and fascinating formula that attracted enthusiasts from all over Piedmont.
The competition, excellently organized by Pietro Varacalli, was named “Riso e chiacchiere”, a name that reflects the convivial and light-hearted spirit of the event. The competition was played on two adjacent courses, offering a dynamic and engaging experience.
The chosen formula was a Louisiana 5, which saw the triumph of the team composed of Federico Alessio, Pietro Varacalli, Giuseppe Sprecacenere, Silvano Vercellino and Grazia.
At the end of the day, the participants met at the Tenuta Castello Golf Club for refreshments and the awards ceremony, in the spirit of sharing and passion for vintage golf.
An event that confirms the vitality and originality of the hickory golf movement in Italy, always capable of uniting sport, tradition and sociality.
